Scody Cloud

Service level agreement

Last updated August 2026

We publish what we can actually deliver today. ScodyX Cloud currently runs a single node in Beauharnois, so the commitment is 99.5% best-effort monthly availability. A 99.9% SLA follows the move to a high-availability cluster with replicated storage — not before.

What is measured

Availability is measured per instance, as the ability to reach the instance's public IPv4 address from outside our network, sampled every 60 seconds from at least two external probes.

Service credits

99.0%–99.5% monthly availability: 10% credit. 95.0%–99.0%: 25% credit. Below 95.0%: 50% credit. Credits apply to the affected instance's monthly fee and are issued against a future invoice.

Exclusions

Scheduled maintenance announced at least 72 hours ahead on the status page, customer-caused outages (misconfiguration, resource exhaustion, deleted resources), suspension for non-payment or acceptable-use violations, and events outside our control.

Claiming

Open a support ticket within 30 days of the incident with the instance ID and the observed window. We cross-check it against our monitoring and the incident record on the status page.

Honest labelling

Single-node capacity means a hardware failure takes your instance offline until the node is restored from backup. If you need survivable capacity today, run two instances and tell us — we will place them so they do not share a failure domain once a second node is live.
