Acceptable use policy
Last updated August 2026
Shared hardware only stays fast and reachable if nobody abuses it. These rules apply to every ScodyX Cloud product.
Prohibited activity
Illegal content, phishing, malware distribution and command-and-control infrastructure.
Port scanning, denial-of-service traffic, spoofed source addresses, or any attempt to reach another tenant's resources.
Cryptocurrency mining on shared-CPU plans, and any workload deliberately designed to exhaust a node's CPU, IO or network capacity.
Outbound mail
Outbound SMTP on port 25 is closed by default on new instances. Request it from support with a description of your sending use case; unsolicited bulk mail is never permitted.
Fair share
Entry plans use fair-share vCPU; premium plans use dedicated cores. Sustained saturation of a shared plan may be rate-limited, and we will contact you about moving to dedicated cores before taking action.
Abuse handling
Reports go to abuse@scodyx.com. We notify you and give you a window to remediate, except where the activity is causing active harm — then we may null-route or suspend immediately and notify you afterwards.
